Physics says that tobacco can be the electro resistive heater itself. Indeed, quality tobacco cut contains certain amount of moisture and salt that makes it electrically conductive. Thus, we can just pass the electricity directly through the tobacco mix. And if we want to make the process more reliable and controllable (the conductivity reduces as the temperature raises) we can add to the tobacco certain amount of graphite particles, that have no smell, tasteless, cheap and perfectly conductive.
